Hey guys. Just wondering if anyone has the tritton ax pro headset and has been able to get it to work with the xbox one. All ideas and tips would be helpfull as I am about to rip my hair out trying to get the chat to work. So, I haven't actually found this trick on the internet yet but it's by far the easiest way to get trittons to work with the xbox one. Obviously the issue is that the puck connector that plugs into the does not fit into the controller adapter's 2. Well, all I did was rip that little adapter apart.
Inside the box of your stereo headset adapter is that little extension cable, the female end has too much plastic around it to plug into the puck connector. I used a small knife to cut off enough of the plastic that it could fit into the puck, however, i also had to use a pair of pliers to rip some of the plastic on the bottom of the puck off so it would fit as well. I'm having trouble attaching pictures to help you out, but it's not really too hard, just look at the connections and scrape off whatever is in the way of making the connection.

They get very heavy use as well, as my now 18 year old son is on his gaming PC all evening and half the night, day in and day out. We were about to return them under the last few weeks of the one year guarentee as the mike has got a rather crackly if the mike bar moved and Tritton Madcat were replying very promptly to our enquiries regarding warranty repair via a standard customer support ticket.
However my son said the phones are really fine for general use provided he doesn't move about too rapidly or hit the mike stalk, so we never pursued it. We got the European version of this AX headset that included the optional PC adaptor cable that works via the PC's soundcard headphone and microphone out sockets.
